Professional High Quality Combination Wire Pliers

Professional high quality combination wire pliers include seven core functions for electrical work: wire cutter, wire stripper, crimper, loop maker, and bolt cutter. A built-in reamer lets you ream 1/2" through 1" conduit and the pliers have a swing-lock design for fast, one-handed operation. Pro electricians will appreciate the crimper on the back end of the pivot and how the pliers' nose is designed to snip wire ties. But these pliers won't make for good general-purpose pliers, because the handles are slightly larger and farther apart than the rest we tested, which made it uncomfortable to hold them while cutting and left the pliers with misaligned edges.

In our tests, these pliers cut better than all but one of the other pliers we tested and managed tough jobs that other pliers struggled with. The padded handles reduced hand discomfort, and they're durable enough to have a long lifespan. The only drawback is that they cost toward the high end of the spectrum.
