Oem Large Size Three Layer Tool Cart Review
Oem Large Size Three Layer Tool Cart Review
The oem large size three layer tool cart provides mobile storage for tools and equipment in a workshop or garage setting. It is typically built with casters or wheels, making it easy to move around the workspace. Some casters are locking, so the cart can be secured in place to prevent it from moving accidentally while in use. There are also a variety of drawer configurations and handles to choose from. Some carts come pre-configured with specific tool types and sizes, but others can be customized to suit individual needs.
This SHUTER professional ultra heavy duty rolling cabinet comes with a wide variety of features, including heavy gauge steel construction and a steel inner structure for extra strength and durability; heavy duty ball bearing drawer runners that can carry higher loads; and locking mechanisms that keep your tools safe and ensure aluminum drawers and cabinet doors don't open unexpectedly or fall. Other important details include non-slip liners, four casters with two breaks, and a powder coated paint finish that resists rust and solvents.
These US General service carts look a lot different than a traditional single-bay roller cabinet, as they have a deeper top storage compartment and all swivel casters instead of two fixed and two swivel. They are also significantly taller, with drawers top-to-bottom rather than side-to-side like a traditional tool box or rolling tool cabinet.
The top compartment of the cart includes hinged lid drop-in storage for pry bars, screwdrivers, and other long extension tools up to 31'' in length. There are 20 holes of different sizes on both sides of the lid, which should provide a decent amount of flexibility for users to store these items where they're most needed. The US General carts also have a pass-thru grommet to accommodate power strips.
It's tough to compare these new US General full bank carts to other similar products in the market, as they all have their own unique feature set. However, Harbor Freight says they are designed to have the storage capacity of a 44'' roller cabinet with the mobility of a rolling single-bay tool cart. That's probably a fair assessment, since the 34'' cart has far more storage space than even a 26'' rolling cabinet and features all-swivel casters to make it easily maneuverable.
These US General service carts are now available for purchase online or in-store, and they're priced at $1750 each. I'm not sure how much of a discount is available on these compared to the USA-made Snap-on KRSC326 model, but it's certainly nice to see some competition in this price range. I'll try to get a handle on shipping costs and delivery times when I talk to my local Harbor Freight store next week, as I'm looking at purchasing one of these for myself.
